Best Budget i5 PC

Hi,

I'll be building my new PC soon. However, as I've said o my previous post, I am a bit outdated when it comes to knowledge of the latest technology. So, I would like to ask for your guidance. What would be a good spec for a PC (including the brand and model) on a budget.

Basically, this PC would be use for Work-From-Home purposes. Some gaming would probably be involve but I am not too much into games. Games that would be played in this PC would be old ones like:
- Counter-Strike
- Generals
- LOTR: Battle for Middle Earth

I'm aiming for an i5 Core Processor, 500GB HDD and 4GB of RAM. I would depend on the MoBo's GPU. But I still plan to acquire a dedicated GPU as well in the future/should the budget permits.

Budget: 30+K (including OS) - Possible?!?

Thanks a lot!

from what i have read, now is not the best time to buy a desktop/laptop since Ivy bridge is about to be released which would give better graphics performance.

30K budget is possible though without the OS.

prices on top of my mind (http://www.tipidpc.com/viewitem.php?iid=9381159)

500GB hdd - 3.4K http://www.tipidpc.com/viewitem.php?iid=11982236
4GB Generic (1.2K) http://www.tipidpc.com/viewitem.php?iid=13530573 , 2.5K for the branded
Mobo - 6.5K http://www.tipidpc.com/viewitem.php?iid=11233619
2500K core i5 - 10K i think http://www.tipidpc.com/viewitem.php?iid=9381159
Rated PSU - 2.5K http://www.tipidpc.com/viewitem.php?iid=15222471
Casing - 1.5K (depends on you)

also want to know

I'm also curious to know the best components to builda desktop PC.

I've done some research and I found this curious discussion about a Gigabyte motherboard on tweaktown.

I've got a GA-Z77X-UD5H-WB. Working fine. No hiccups or what so ever. Only problem is, it doesn't support my dual GPU single PCB solution. =.=
